UI copy templates
Five interface elements where copy length decides whether a design holds together. Each page covers what the element is for, copy that works next to copy that does not, the length ranges worth designing around, the accessibility rules that apply, and a TypeMatch preset you can open on the page without losing anything you have already typed.

Guides
Word count vs character countConstrain by characters when a fixed space has to hold the text — buttons, table cells, meta titles, SMS, database columns. Constrain by words when the reading experience matters more than the box — body paragraphs, blog intros, briefs written for a writer. Characters predict whether text fits; words predict how long it takes to read.Replace Lorem Ipsum in FigmaCopy the Latin string out of the Figma text layer, paste it into TypeMatch, keep the same length target, and paste the returned English copy back into the same layer. Because the replacement matches the original word or character count and paragraph structure, auto layout does not reflow and your frame keeps the proportions you approved.
