Text expander for longer placeholder blocks
Half-empty layouts lie in the other direction: a two-line description in a block designed for eight makes the spacing look wrong and hides the real scrolling behaviour. Paste the short copy you have, raise the target, and get a longer version at the exact count you need to stress-test the container.
Opens with a short sample loaded and the target unlocked at 55 words.
Your text
Up to 20,000 characters per run. Emoji, accented characters and multiple paragraphs are all supported.
How your text is handled: matching runs in this browser tab, so the text you paste here is not sent to a TypeMatch server and is not saved between visits — closing or reloading the tab clears it. Usage analytics record only counts and settings, never your text. Anything you copy out is then handled by your own clipboard and the app you paste into.

Share work in progress with the people reviewing it, collect written feedback beside the frame it belongs to, and keep every decision attached to the version that produced it, so a new reviewer can open the file weeks later and follow how the current layout was actually reached.
One paragraph in, one paragraph out, at a count that fills the container.
When to use it
Testing overflow and truncation
Long content reveals whether a component scrolls, clamps or breaks. Short filler hides all three.
Balancing a multi-column layout
Columns fed with the same word count sit evenly, which makes the underlying grid problems visible.
Populating a documentation template
A template with realistic block lengths reads like the finished thing during a walkthrough.
Frequently asked questions
Does expanding add meaning to my text?
+
No. It generates longer placeholder copy at your target length. It does not elaborate on your argument, and the extra words are filler, not claims about your product.
How long can the output be?
+
Well past a full page. The source input accepts up to 20,000 characters per run, and the target can be raised to match large blocks.
Can I expand into more paragraphs?
+
The paragraph count of your source is preserved. To get more paragraphs, add blank lines to the source and the target is distributed across them.
Will the wording repeat itself?
+
Long targets draw on a wider vocabulary pool, but at extreme lengths phrases will recur. Regenerate for a different mix, or split the block into paragraphs.
